PRIMARY CARE
The United States baby boomer population has grown and people are living longer. We have experienced providers who have worked with 60+ patients in a variety of medical settings. And we are here for you. Many patients are living with long term conditions that are complex and difficult to manage on their own. At VIZAVEE our clinicians strive not to be reactive but rather proactive. Our goal is to provide medical care and educate each patient on all aspects of their personal healthcare needs. This means that our patient-relationship will be built on trust, understanding and mutual respect. We are committed to providing VIZAVEE CARE (face-to-face) EVERY DAY, EVERY HOLIDAY & EVERY WEEKEND.
QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Q: So, you are open every day for PRIMARY CARE?
A: No, we are open MONDAY-THROUGH-FRIDAY for regular, scheduled visits as well as URGENT / WALK-IN VISITS.
Q: Am I going to be able to be seen by MY PRIMARY CARE when I get sick?
A: We will make every effort possible to schedule you to see your PRIMARY CARE. However, this will be handled on a case-by-case depending on schedule availability.
Q: What happens if I am not able to see MY PRIMARY CARE?
A: After your walk-in visit with one of our urgent care providers, a follow-up appointment will be made so that you will be able to see your PRIMARY CARE.
Q: Who will see me when MY PRIMARY CARE is NOT AVAILABLE?
A: We have 3 URGENT CARE facilities with open, walk-in schedule. You may go to any of our three locations: BROWNWOOD, COLONY PLAZA or BUFFALO RIDGE.
Q: I am fairly healthy. How often do you expect to see me?
A: We want to see our 60+ patient three times per year, about every 4-month. These timed visits will allow us to update our files and keep you fresh in our minds.
Q: I came in and saw one of MY PRIMARY or AN ASSOCIATE PRACTITIONER. Do I still have to come for my ROUTINE VISIT?
A: Yes, the ROUTINE-VISIT serves to summarize, put together and update YOUR and OURS HEALTH CARE GOALS.
Q: Does MEDICARE COVER 3-times visits to MY PRIMARY CARE?
A: Yes, it is about PREVENTION, PREVENTION and PREVENTION. The cost of one visit, a SINGLE VISIT to the EMERGENCY DEPT, will cost MEDICARE about the same as several months, if not, many years to our PRIMARY CARE.
Q: But I am SUPER HEALTHY, why do I have to come?
A: Even SUPER HEALTHY individuals have insidious changes that CAN ONLY be detected with PRO-ACTIVE vigilance. The more you know about your body, the better off you will be.
Q: So what is it that will be done during my ROUTINE VISIT?
A: Routine blood work, and physical examination. The MORE we see you, the more I remember you. Normal laboratory and radiology findings are good to have. We STRONGLY ADVISE you NOT TO BE AN OSTRICH. Hiding your head is in the sand does not mean bad things are not going to happen in your body.
Q: I DO NOT LIVE in the Villages FULL-TIME. Do I still have to establish PRIMARY CARE?
A: Absolutely, we are here for you. We want to get to know you. We will get the information from your OUT-OF-STATE PRIMARY CARE and use it to help you whenever you need (HERE IN FLORIDA).
Q: So, what can you do for me as a PART-TIME PRIMARY CARE?
A: We will do all we can to addresses any, and all issues you may develop as an OUT-PATIENT. In other words, we will try to keep you from hospitalization any way we can. We are here for consultation and evaluation anytime, or day of the week.
Q: What do I do to sign-up for PRIMARY CARE?
A: Come by one of our facilities, PICK-UP and a NEW PATIENT packet and make an appointment.
